Our COVID-19 Response

ALS in the Heartland is closely monitoring the news surrounding COVID-19 and seeks to do our part to reduce the spread of the virus. As we are dedicated to serving the needs of people living with ALS, we plan to engage in the following best practice guidelines:

We are in the office and/or working remotely from home. We are requesting visitors to the office only if necessary. If necessary, we encourage you to contact us to schedule a time prior to stopping by.

Visits with patient families are currently being postponed. Rather, we will continue to connect via email, Skype, text, or other means of communication that doesn't require in person contact.

Our Walk and Rally for Hope has been postponed. We are working on rescheduling and will inform everyone when that date has been set.

Do not hesitate to reach out to us with your needs, questions, or concerns. Although our approach may be different than usual, we are eager to help in any way we can through our programs and staff.
